Lances pool
This post is possibly/definitely more skateboard than swimming pool construction related... but i think its interesting and really well shot, so bugger it. If you think skateboarding is a waste of time and immature best skip this...
The first video clip is Lance Mountains section from a new Dvd called 'Extremely Sorry' the pool in which Lance is skating is actually his own and at his house, he goes on to talk about it in the second video clip...

Good Friday
Working's perhaps not the best thing to do on good Friday, but opening up a pool for Easter that you built last year and seeing the site finished in the sunshine isn't bad...
This property sits at the base of a huge cliff on the side of a small fishing village in Cornwall, once owned by actress Rita Tushingham (that's her sitting in the garden were the pool now stands)
Check your pool first
We all know on the 5Th of November to check our bonfires for hibernating hedgehogs before lighting them, but its easy to forget about the little green chaps when opening up our pools...
Chances are if you've left your outdoor pool untouched and relatively free of chemicals over the winter, its going to be a little green. The first thing your going to want to do is run it up and give it a good shocking with chlorine. Good Plan! But just before you do, bare a thought for Kermit and his buddies who have made your pool their winter retreat. A careful trawl of the bottom with a leaf net and a check of the skimmers is all it takes...
